Ear training tool - BETA

I finished the first version of my ear training tool today. I'll be adding some more features in the near future, but I think this initial version has a lot to offer.

UPDATE This original version of my ear trainer has been updated dozens of times over the year. You can read more about the various updates, or you can jump right in and start using my free online ear trainer.

Great site! Make this available to sax players. (like me)

Hi Fred.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. The ear training tool can be used for any instrument or voice.

You can set the Root Key by selecting from the menu at the top right. That selection transposes the notes displayed so they correspond to your instrument. As you'll see, I've got both Eb (Alto sax) and Bb (Tenor sax) keys in there. I use the Bb option all the time, so I know at least that one works ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Ear Training

Ear training is extremely important for understanding and creating music. Unfortunately, it's also typically absent from early stages of mainstream music education. I created some ear training tools to help improve my skills. Hopefully, these tools and my experiences will strengthen your aural skills as well.
