This is the personal website of an aspiring trumpet player living in New York.

    Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. Your IP address is collected and cookies are used. I also use cookies to save the settings that you use in the online ear training tools. If you post a comment on this site, your email is saved so the site can notify you of updates and the contents of your comment are saved to a database and displayed publicly on this website. If you create an account at the Online Ear Trainer, your email address is stored to allow for password retrieval. You can use all of the my tools, however, without submitting your email address or other data.

    I receive the contents of your message in an email.

3. Do We Give Your Data to Third Parties?

No. We do not give, sell, lease or otherwise make available your data to third parties. Note, however, that Google Analytics is accessing your IP address.

4. How Do We Use Your Information?

Aside from methods already mentioned, the only way I have your data is if you knowingly give it to me via a comment or message. Comments are publicly displayed on the site while emails and direct messages are private.

5. Website Accounts

The Online Ear Trainer allows you to create an account so you can save your custom scripts and exercises. This is the only type of account offered at this site and it is optional.

6. How Do We Use Your IP Address?

As mentioned, Google Analytics collects your address. This site, however, does not save your IP address, nor is your IP address shared with the owner of this site.

7. Cookies And Analytics

Data and information may be automatically collected through the use of cookies by virtue of the standard operation of this website's servers. In general, cookies are text files a website uses to recognize repeat users and take minimal space on your computer. The way cookies function is by assigning a number to the user that has no meaning outside of the assigning website. By making the appropriate adjustment to your browser preferences, you can choose to accept or deny the use of cookies. However, please note that there may be features on this Web site which require the use of cookies in order to personalize the delivery of information to you. As mentioned, Google Analytics is also used for traffic statistics. Google does not share your IP address with the owner of this site.

If you contact me via email, the email will be kept indefinitely. Public comments on this website are also displayed indefinitely, however they will be removed upon request. Ear training accounts are also kept indefinitely, but can be deleted upon request.

This website's server uses certain security measures to protect the misuse, alteration, and loss of the information under our control. We cannot guarantee that our security measures will provide complete protection against third-party hackers from illegally obtaining this information. If, at any time you suspect that a problem may be present regarding the information you disclose to us, please contact me and I will do my best to resolve the problem.

If you wish to modify the contents of a public comment or your ear training account, please contact me.

Sighthound will not monitor, edit, or disclose any personal information about you or your account without your prior consent unless I have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with legal process or other legal requirements of any governmental authority; or (ii) protect and defend my rights or property;

There is no age restriction to access this website and its ear training tools. All public comments, however, are approved before posting online to protect against the sharing of sensitive information.

Please be aware that any information you voluntarily disclose in a public comment on this website may be collected and disseminated by third-parties, and may result in unsolicited messages and offers from third-parties.
